Happy New Year everyone! It’s time to take a look at what happened during the holidays. With the battle for Tessa’s temple, players had the chance to show what they have in store for the enemy! Amenta is still leading the Population/Prestige ranking, closely followed by the German pantheon Pyrolyse and French pantheon Flibustiers De Nezeb. Third place will be highly contested as both Excessum and Prestige are now closing the gap.
Excessum is really going for it! While holding the lead in the PvE rankings, they also secured a spot in each and every top 10 ladder! With Nova currently hot on their heels, will they be able to hold the line!?
Rumours say that Pyrolyse, Excessum and Prestige formed a triumvirate that was able to soar undisputed to the top of the whole competition! Flibustiers de Nezeb is getting a lot of heat in the current stage of competition and have yet to meet their greatest challenge surviving against a seemingly unstoppable alliance – unless greed sours the diplomacy. Unconfirmed sources claim that pillaging, capturing or burning Temples could see a share of Tessa sparks taken out from the owner in favour of the victor! Should this turn out to be true, competitors might reconsider their present arrangement to try and take a clear lead in the competition. Attacking temples from Pantheons storing the most Tessa sparks could become a new viable strategy, adding even more depth to Temple confrontations!
Who will make the boldest move against Pyrolyse, our current leader – Prestige, Excessum or Nova? Will anyone flip the table and syphon the precious resources from their allies? Who will try to claim for themselves a temple higher in the chart? Which alliances will withstand the test of time?
Many now wish to trade friendship over vicious blows, while refusing to spare victims or perceived weaklings in the coming wars as newcomers emerge from the competition! Controversy has shaken the current session of Tessa fights with allegations that some top guilds agreed to falsely declare war against each other in the hopes of preventing any real assaults from other aggressors! We shall see how this situation unfolds and whether players decide to dispense retribution against such tactics.
Despite valid criticisms aimed at Tessa Battles during the feature's infancy (as well as being regarded as far too demanding), every day sees new contenders emerging with more lust for power:
For Immortality, the year started very well! They managed to secure a spot in the space program Top 5 (along with Rank 4 in PvE). We're excited to see if they can keep it up, and which other pantheons from the Silver league press on to the higher rankings!
Immortality: We're having fun with it so far.
While we weren't a PvP centric pantheon at the start, we've been able to create many more teams in the last few weeks due to our growth and started being a lot more interested in doing regular PvP, including pantheon wars. We're having fun with it so far.
Codex Astartes, offering both the “pro and casual experience”, was hard-working during the holidays! With only 5 teams (1 silver & 4 bronze), they managed to climb 32 Ranks, up to Rank 22!
Codex Astartes: We look positively to the future and want to secure our spot among the EU Top 10 Pantheons."
During the past few weeks a lot of players joined our Pantheon, motivated to go all the way to the top with us. Because of this we were able to achieve some success in the Tessa battles, even though we realized that we were hitting the wall. With the experience we gained, we look positively to the future and want to secure our spot among the EU Top 10 Pantheons.
The Pantheon Wars are still in their infancy for this first season but many players already joined in to fight in the most passionate competition that Skyforge has seen since its debut. The suspense promises to drive us mad over the coming weeks as the Prize tournament gets closer and closer, with the competition being fiercer than ever!
What a thrilling beginning of Stage II! We're eager to see how it continues and what players will make of the third and final week of Stage II, so be sure to stay tuned for next week’s review of Skyforge Pantheon Wars!
