Hydnellum, the Ripping Thorn

This axe was made from the trunk of a still living Entid, so it has certain properties of the giant mushroom: Phytonide spores will help you put your enemies to flight.

  • Gloomy Shadow and Dehydration leave Shadow Spikes on the ground.
  • Destruction detonates all Shadow Spikes in its area of effect, inflicting damage in a 7 yard radius of each spike.

Ricinus, the Poisonous Claw

Sturdy and tough Triffid stems are perfect for bows. Just try not to become a fertilizer while you are getting your hands on this rare and beautiful material.

The bow is charged when your companion is attacking, accumulating the Poison effect. When charge level 4 is reached, Electric Arrows are replaced with Poisonous Arrows which have 3 charge levels.

  • Poisonous Shot deals damage to the enemy, slowing them down and preventing them from using Dash for 12 seconds.
  • Poisonous Storm deals damage to all enemies in the direction of the attack.
  • Poisonous Explosion deals damage to all enemies in a 12 yard radius of the target, dealing 10 times more damage to shields. It also reduces all shields applied to the target 5 times for 15 seconds.

Perfect Cover 2.0 Auxiliary Support Module
For the lease duration: removes the shared cooldown limitation for the Perfect Cover module.

The Pantheon Banner

We’d like to tell you about a unique reward that our heroes will enjoy, the Pantheon Banner. It's a stand-alone activated ability, which, in a few updates, will be delivered to top-10 Pantheon members based on the results of season 4 of Pantheon Wars.

The Banner will help Pantheon members receive extra rewards in adventures, boosts in regions, accelerated ether mining in Hostile Territories, and a lot of other things! Upon activation of this ability on an adventure, an assisting Banner-bearer appears, carrying your glorious Banner behind you throughout the adventure. In every region, a Banner of the Pantheon that owns the region will appear for any character to use them. Besides, you will be able to place the Banner on the ground in a region for your nearest allies to receive Banner-related bonuses.

Every pantheon member will be able to activate the Banner, but the number of uses will be limited: 1 to 3 uses, depending on the current Pantheon rank. For the first few weeks, only Pantheon War winners will be able to use the Banner. After this period, this ability will be available to all Pantheons of rank 20 or higher.

Adventure Changes

Combat Superiority

The chance of acquiring Combat Superiority from Invasion Special Troops was increased from 25% to 50%

Diaphran Archipelago

Fixed a bug where a number of survivors were underwater.
Fixed a bug that caused some treasures to be submerged.

Nightmare Difficulty
In addition to the normal rewards, the Nightmare difficult now grants players an additional Chest upon completion that contains Epic level equipment with a higher than normal Chance to contain a mythical Quality Item.

  • Opponents that get pulled twice in a period of 10 seconds will become immunity to the pull effect for 10 seconds

If your adepts manage to find especially valuable information, you will receive one of three premium rewards:

To accelerate missions, you can use Intelligence Data or Surveillance Reports. Intelligence Data can be obtained in PvE adventures: from 1 item for victory over the boss in Squad and Group adventures. Killing bosses in group adventures brings more Data. The reward size depends on the character’s and adventure’s current rank. You cannot gain more than 2500 pcs. of Intelligence Data in PvE adventures.

The cap is now 10.000 Intelligence Data and it will stay like this for the duration of this promo. Future promotions will have an unlimited cap, with reduced drops after you reach 3000 Intelligence Data.

You can purchase an Intelligence Data Extractor in the Events section of the Market. It increases the amount of Intelligence Data received for killing the boss in a PvE adventure.

Surveillance Reports are more rare: there is a small chance of getting them for defeating bosses in Squad, Group, and Party adventures. The number of reports you can get during a promotion is not limited. When the event is over, all unused Surveillance Reports will be converted into credits (1 to 20 000).

Invasion of Mechanoids begins! The enemy's ships have entered Aelion's orbit. Integrator's scouts and stormtroopers are dropped on the planet's surface to create a convenient landing area for the main forces.

Join Templars to prevent the mindless machines from striking our peaceful cities! Mechanoids' main objective is to capture and enslave Aelion's citizens and supply faith to their great god.

Table of equipment

New difficulty levels will become available according to schedule. You can view it in the game, in the current invasion interface.

Invasion will gradually gain momentum. With the arrival of new bosses, new distortions and adventure difficulty levels will be unlocked, and players will get access to improved equipment.

In group adventures (except Hespilon Temple), you can receive rare and epic equipment. In distortions and squad adventures, 1 epic item per day is guaranteed. After that, both rare and epic items may drop. Adventure cards usually contain information about the kind of equipment you can get in there.

Another place where you can get equipment is invasion adventures. When you defeat a special troop, you will receive a chest that may contain rare, epic, and even mythical items of relevant generation (if the character's rank is equal to or higher than the special troop's rank). The item type depends on the stage of the invasion. The chest may contain only the equipment pieces that are currently available in adventures. Bosses in invasion adventures may drop these chests as well.

Invasion adventure opening schedule

Special adventures become available to immortals during invasions. They differ depending on the invading army, giving young gods a chance to test their skills in new conditions and unique combat situations. These adventures are also very picturesque and atmospheric.

Catch-up System

Newcomers will execute directives of the Council of Gods to receive extra items that boost their Cathedral, Tower of Knowledge, and Bastions.

Catch-up system limitations*

  • Cathedral: 175 000 Followers.
  • Tower of Knowledge: rank 140.
  • Bastions: second-to-last symbol in each Bastion.

*At the start of the season, the system marks the number of ranks to catch up for every player. Total number of items, rewarded for directives, corresponds with the number of ranks. The system ignores all player's investments in development. Thus, in most cases, the catch-up will finish after the player receives the target rank, mentioned earlier.

  • The "Inghar Gold Set" have been fixed:

    • Added the Champion of Inghar challenge. You can complete it by ending up in the top 5 of the season.
    • The Champion of Inghar title is now in game. It is given to those who complete the challenge.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from progressing in the Thanatos' Ship adventure.

  • Fixed a visual issue that happened when Necromancers used the jetpack.
  • Fixed the issue where the Witch/Warlock’s legendary weapon’s spinning was interrupted during Dark Ritual.

Campaign/Story

  • You can now enter the story quest "Thanatos' Ship" through the campaign map.
  • The "Invisible Guard Attire" costume can now be sold.

Monk

  • Corrected the description of basic attacks. Added information that they slow enemies down.

Pantheon

  • Players can now get detailed information about a pantheon system by pressing the "i" Icon that was added to the Pantheon menu.
  • Fixed an issue where the exclamation mark (!) would be stuck in the skills tab.
  • "Members of the top 10 Pantheons (if their Pantheon’s rank is 20 or higher) can now use Pantheon Banner.
  • A player can call Pantheon banner a limited number of time a week. The banner will upgrade in accordance to the pantheons rank:

      • Rank 20 - Bronze - 1 use per member per week.
      • Rank 23 - Gold - 2 uses per member per week.
      • Rank 25 – Platinum – 3 uses per member per week.

In adventures and regions, the members of the Pantheons can call down the "Pantheon banner". While being within the banners active radius, all members of the group will receive various bonuses.

To call the Pantheon banner, open the Hyperion panel with Alt + V and activate "Pantheon banner" skill. To find out how many you have left, you can open the "Valuables" tab in the bag.

Pantheon banner bonuses:

  • Get up to 20 new followers for your cathedral when completing adventures (if the Cathedral has reached the maximum number of followers, Faith will be gained instead).
  • 5% increased chance of getting equipment with higher integrity in Squad and Group adventures.
  • 5% more marks from “Invasion” type adventures.
  • 33% increased chance of getting Legendary Aspect Jewellery.
  • Damage to enemies in "Region Invasions" is increased by 10%
  • Increase the amount of Ether obtained in Hostile Territories by 20% for 5 minutes."

  • Increased the minimum number of meteorites that fall during the meteor shower. It was increased from 0 to 8, to 5 to 12, and after the shower ends 5 to 10 remain on the ground.
  • Increased the life time of the meteors to 5 minutes after they fall, regardless of how many players collected it and how long the Helicers were around collecting it.
  • The attacks on the mining stations now happen at the same time. You need to protect all 3 stations to Complete the event successfully.
  • Now the Legion will attack the 3 mechanoid bases at the same time, and all attacks must be defended.
  • The protective dome can no longer be healed, but it's durability has been increased.

Using the latest technologies and achievements in botany, our scientists created this terminal. It can induce reverse mutations while preserving the subject’s mental functionality. At least that is what the instruction says.

  • Using Stimulant Injection turns the Alchemist into a monster for 16 seconds.
  • The monster can use support abilities from the Alchemist’s arsenal, takes 80% less damage, and the radius of his support aura is increased 4 times.

  • Combustible Solution is replaced with Monster Leap which teleports the Alchemist to the enemy and deals damage, increasing the damage of the next 4 Monster Strikes 2 times. If you have the Radioactive Ectoplasm talent, each boosted Monster Strike will also reduce the remaining cooldown of Healing Essence and Energy Shower by 3 seconds.

When we called upon you to send us your questions for the development team, you did not hesitate! We received a lot of wonderful and interesting queries, but, not all could be answered – this time.

Read on for all interesting tidbits and details!

There have been concerns involving the current class balance in Skyforge, what are your current plans to address class balance?

We are aware that the balance between classes has not seen enough love and we want to work more on that. We are re-focusing our resources and going forward, we will make sure to spend more energy on balancing to make sure the under-represented classes get back into the spotlight!

Do you have any information to share on new classes that are going to be released in the future?

With the recent successful release of the Grovewalker across all platforms. We are starting to look for the next class that would fit within the Skyforge line-up. We are early in the process of defining the next class and we don't have any additional details to share about it right now. However, we have heard your requests for a new support class, and we are taking this feedback into account during our design and decision process.

Are there any plans to increase the amount of scaled PvP content? And are there other plans for PVP in the future for Skyforge?

We are planning to release more information about this soon, but the short answer is yes! PVP in Skyforge has not gotten the attention it deserves, and we will remedy that very soon. Right now, we are working on updating the PVP-system in the game and we also plan to release a new PVP mode in the near future.

Are there going to be more places where players can use Elder god?

We have gotten a lot of feedback from players that there are not enough places to use the Elder God form. We're aware of this and are working with our Designer and Publishing Team on meaningful and engaging ways to use the elder god forms, but for the moment we do not have any information that's ready to be shared.

Players feel like the current price for upgrading their gear is too high, are there any plans to adjust the prices?

We have made some adjustments to the pricing and drop rates for the equipment system and we feel like it's in a good place now. We're not planning any major changes going forward, but please continue to share your feedback!

Are there any plans to add Mantides or other races to the invasion schedule?

The short answer is – Not right now. We are working on some new opponents for the Immortals to fight, but it's not going to be an invasion, Instead, it will be a different type of challenge. You'll find out more about this soon, but for now, we are not ready to share more details about it.

We have a lot of weapon/artifact abilities that are not usable due to the way the generations work. You cannot use those kinds of old weapons because they don't match the current gen and become forgotten. Are there any plans to make those weapons/artifacts available in current generations?

Recently, we've brought a few new and exciting ways for players to obtain weapons with abilities. Through the Equipment Lootboxes and the King's Ransom Lottery, many players were able to get their hands on current generation legendary weapons. We are also looking at new ways for players to obtain Legendary Weapons through PVP and you'll have more info on that soon! Let us know what you think of those and what ideas you have!

Are there any additional story episodes planned?

We have been re-working the adventures in the first provinces and right now we have new stories in the adventures for the first four provinces, up until the Artemian Mountains province. We are very excited about telling the stories about Aelion and making the adventures more interesting and we highly urge all veterans to go back try them again!

Players are excited to see new and unique cosmetics for sale, but they are released few and far between, are there any plans to release such content more frequently?

Designing new and unique content is something we are always working on, and we want to keep releasing new cosmetics for you to enjoy, but it takes quite a bit of time to make it. That's why you see a large delay between the new content. As we're currently focusing our design resources on game updates, we are not planning on increasing the number of cosmetics we make for the moment.

Are there any plans to add a way to change the appearance of your weapons to something else without affecting its stats?

We have thought about this feature many times because while we do have many interesting and cool looking skins for weapons, players tend to tend to choose the most powerful (not the most beautiful weapon). However, this feature would take quite a lot of work to realize it in a good way and right now the development team is focusing on other areas of the game.

Players would like to hold onto their purchased weapons after new generations of weapon sets are released, would it be possible in the future to upgrade your weapons in a similar way to how the Rebirth of Flame works for other item slots?

After implementing the Equipment Upgrade system, we've seen a lot of changes to how people obtain gear and how they keep their gear upgraded to the latest generation and the best stats. We're still observing how players are using this and are tweaking this system to make it more streamlined. When we feel that we are in a good place with the already implemented features we will most likely move on to the weapons, but that's still to be determined.

Once a player has a decent set of gear and has passed junior godhood, It becomes hard to follow the progress of your character. The current might system makes it harder to see where you are getting your power from. Are there any plans to create a more visible progression path?

Right now, there are several different places where you get your stats from and they are kind of scattered across different parts of the UI. We want to bring this closer together so it's clearer to players where they are getting their power from and make a sort of central hub where all those sources can be reviewed and shown at a glance. It's something our interface designers are working on and that we can hopefully see implemented in the game soon.

Players would like to see more customization options for the divine form are there any planned?

We released the new divine form for the "All for Science" promotion last year, and saw some positive feedback for it, but not enough for us to spend more time into making more custom god forms. We might consider it if the demand from the community is large enough.

Developer Diary – Upcoming PvP adjustments

Immortals!

Soon, PvP adventures will change a great deal. Scaling, rewards, and ratings will undergo a revision. We are certain the upcoming changes will make battles between players more interesting, and adventures - more appealing. Let us list the changes in detail!
For starters, watch this video where the game director of Skyforge and the producer of the western version of the game will briefly tell you about the upcoming innovation.

Rewards

Let's get straight to the point! Now you can get more credits for PvP adventures, along with Knowledge of Enemies, equipment of the current generation, and even temporary legendary items: weapons and artifacts. We are introducing Happy Hours: several times a day, during a certain period of time, PvP gamers will receive higher rewards and a chest with relevant equipment for every completed battle.

Ratings and changes to rules.

Battle of Golems, Battle of Equals, and Massive Battles will use the same set of rules. The Might of all characters will be equalized in all PvP adventures. The maximum level of health will be made class-dependent. The use of Symbols and legendary items' abilities (weapons, artifacts, Aspect jewelry) will be allowed during battles. Primary and secondary stats of jewelry will count. We added a new stat, read more about it below.
However, bonuses granted by the Tower of Knowledge, Cathedral, any consumables, divine form, Aspects, and most importantly, combat vehicles will stop working in PvP activities.
Rating points will be calculated in a different manner. They can be earned in all PvP adventures, except Lugran Research Base. In average, it will take less rating points to get to the next league. For one, the threshold for the Diamond Cohort will be 400 rating points instead of 650. It means the increased value of each victory.
Rating rewards received at the end of a season have also been increased. In addition to Victor's Medals, you can receive a special companion and a unique costume. You can always view your rating directly in the game.

New stat

A new stat will be introduced in the upcoming update. PvP is the only way to unlock and boost it. Unlocking is rather easy. You will have a chance to receive a special item as an arena reward.
Use it on any item of jewelry, and it will receive the new "PvP Stat". It will slightly increase your health and damage in Battle of Golems, Battle of Equals, and Massive Battles.
It may be applied to all eight types.
We are certain the new changes will positively impact PvP adventures. Instead of players who want to save Stimulants when fulfilling directives, these adventures will be frequented by players who enjoy fighting other characters and want to receive great rewards.
