With the launch of the new Invasion seasons, Tier 8 equipment became available to the Immortals. To obtain Tier 8 equipment, heroes have to embark on the following adventures using the actual difficulty levels:

Flavius Laboratory

We added several new bonuses, increasing the effectiveness of the Mechanoid Army countermeasures. Starting from today, you will receive one Mechanoid Army pattern per day. Old apexes can be researched without losing the patterns, but they will not grant you battlefield superiority. You will achieve 100 percent combat superiority by collecting all the Mechanoid Laboratory bonuses.

New series of Operations

A new Operations set has been announced! Eliminate threats to Aelion’s safety and receive additional rewards in form of credits, enemy lore and argents for completing regular missions. Reach the top of the Ratings and achieve maximum Operation level to receive even more rewards.

• Added new story: Victim. It’s a partial adaptation of the old storyline tailored to the Ascension era. New players will enjoy exciting adventures, and those who completed the old storyline will see it from a new perspective. After completing the fourth story, you will receive a wonderful costume.
  Aelion is engulfed in the flames of war, and more and more people fall victims to it every day. But Pria, a well-known Aelion reporter, claims that invaders cannot be blamed for all the victims. Could an immortal have stooped to treachery?

Integrator

• Increased damage from the homing bomb.
• After the Reboot phase, the boss becomes invulnerable to damage for a time.

TRAINING INCARNATION

• Integrator now has less health.
• The boss now needs a little more time to activate abilities.

• Fixed the error that caused Possession to work incorrectly.

Cathedral

• Saving survivors in regions will once again bring new followers to all group members.

• Evacuated all survivors from the Dankit Island. You won’t find them there.

Bastions

• You no longer need credits to receive quests.
• Fixed the description of quests in the Lanber Forest.

Interface

• When you hover your mouse cursor over icons of currency required to receive a quest in Bastions and Class Temples, you will now see the description of that currency.
• Changed the marker of storyline quests.
• Fixed the error where floating damage text was displayed incorrectly.
• When visiting Flavius’s laboratory, you will see the tab of the appropriate invasion army in your priority tasks list.

Quests Interface

• Completed quests no longer end up in the “Other” section.

Controller

• Camera is now rotated correctly in the Photo Mode.

Some may be able to turn this ‘hindrance’ into an advantage, though there is no advantage to be had by getting caught in a Thea meteorite shower!

Yes, even the weather will be against you on Thea, yet some claim that there is salvage to be gained from the fallen meteorites, so don’t hesitate to backtrack and investigate once you have found cover and survived the initial onslaught.

Hyperion

• Using a Hyperion Module Lease Contract extends the lease duration for already leased modules (before, the lease timers did not stack).
• Perfect Cover is now triggered only for characters who have activated the appropriate module.

Divinity

• Fixed the issue where a character in divine form with unlocked God’s Will did not have a shortened cooldown for changing classes after switching to Outlaw.

Cathedral

• Fixed the error where survivors would be missing in the adventure if the player enters it again right after finishing it.

Interface

• Added a progress bar for the Tower of Knowledge.
• Fixed the issue where after completing certain quests, the list of rewards displayed information about new followers and Aelerium-9 when, in fact, there was none.
• Players who have no access to operations yet can no longer see Operation Priority in the adventure list.

Classes

Outlaw

• Fixed the issue where the Cathedral’s bonus reducing the ultimate abilities’ cooldown would not affect the cooldown of Fire Frenzy.

Necromancer

• Fixed the bug that prevented the cooldown of Shield of the Banished from working correctly.

Archer

• Fixed the issue where the Archer would sometimes get stuck in animation after using Burning Rapid Fire.

Thea

• Griffins and Manned Modules should now correctly react to low gravity.

Kairax

• When digging into the ground, Kairax should now correctly drag one of immortals with it.
• Changed the damage from Aelerium pools - base damage has been reduced, but damage over time has been increased. Watch your feet!
• Fixed the issue where meteorites were absent when the boss was invulnerable.
• The duration of invulnerability has been reduced from 5 minutes to 3.
• Worked on fixing the issue where some characters did not receive memory blocks when killing Helicers. The problem should be resolved now.

Flavius's Laboratory

• The Mechanoids from Thea are now also counted in quests where you need to kill the Mechanoids.

Squad

Nerion's Castle

• Fixed the issue where the option to blind Nerion would not be triggered correctly.

Visualization

• Fixed the issue where certain companions caused unnecessary visual effects to appear on Berserkers.
• Fixed the bug where a character could summon Trifolium without putting their weapons away.
• Corrected the visual effect of Dash for female Outlaws on Thea-1 Manned Space Module.
• Fixed some visual effects for the Machavann’s Guard weapon.

Follower Compensation

Dear players,

We have been applying fixes to the follower system in the past weeks and we continue working on improving the system now. However, for a time there was a vulnerability and some players managed to get an unfair advantage over others.

Because of this, everyone who made more than 16.000 followers in the Cathedral from gathering survivors, will have their extra might and followers removed and converted into faith at a rate of 500 = 100 followers to faith.

Whilst the bulk of Aelion’s best and brightest are busy studying your recent findings on Thea, the Xenobiological division has still found time to make yet another ground-breaking discovery. After tampering with findings from the Emerald Stream, a special compound – “C-611”, later branded “Euphomine” – was developed from the findings. Hailed as a wonder drug, Euphomine provided voluntary testers with immunity to almost all Gorgonide poisons and enhanced the users own strength and mobility, earning the attention of Aelion’s mortal military who deemed it as a soft-cure for their dwindling troop numbers.

However, this almost perfect discovery had unforeseen consequences that were discovered too late. It has since been noted that Euphomine is extremely addictive, inflicts sporadic hallucinations and elicits delusions of grandeur, making mortals believe they, themselves, are now all-powerful gods surrounded by non-existent danger, going so far as to mistake friends for foes. By the time this negative quirk was discovered, Euphomine had already been mass distributed to mortal Templars – now under threat of taking their ‘new godly powers’ and using them against threats that do not even exist, or using any means necessary to acquire more of the addictive drug when the powers fade.

When the citizens of Aelion discovered that unknown threats lurked in the shadowy depths of Aelion’s moon – Thea – everyone began preparing for the worst. The last thing anyone needed was yet another invasion coming from somewhere so close to home.

Now that valiant Immortals have established a presence on the moon’s surface, charted its territories and studied its inhabitants, mortal tensions back on Aelion have started to lessen. This could be the perfect opportunity to show the beautiful side of Thea and continue calming those who once had nothing but fear and reservations about what it contained. After all, those who haven’t had the pleasure of seeing Thea’s surface, let alone the opportunity actually walk on it, can only speculate in the dark – thus Flavius himself came up with a simple plan that would not only calm Aelion’s civilians and raise awareness, but also provide useful research data for science teams to study.

From the 28th of April to the 4th of May 23:59 CEST, all Immortals brave enough to visit Thea are encouraged to bring their disposable cameras and take the most beautiful picture they possibly can of its surface – a simple act that could earn you a bundle of goodies for your next adventure.

Having managed to avoid planet-wide enslavement at the hands of the Integrator, despite Aelion being left to fend for itself since the mysterious disappearance of Aeli, the event now serves as a symbol of Unity and Rebirth, marking the end of the ‘dark times’.

Citizens are now preparing celebratory fireworks, while veterans organize military-exhibitions to show off the gear and materials used to combat the mechanoids in defence of the planet. Along the way, all manner of memorabilia has been collected, such as victory medals and letters from loved ones, reminders of a moment that could have ended with Aelion being wholly enslaved had things gone differently.

Given the momentous what-if’s and the fact that many people and families had fallen during Aelinar’s destruction, echoes of the past – reflecting the torment and pain some of our heroes suffered before their untimely demise during the past battle – have manifested themselves during the celebrations. So strong is their torment and emotion that they’ve become corporeal enough to attack citizens and Immortals. It is up to you whether you wish to enjoy the celebrations with the living, or take time to investigate relentless echoes of the past, providing peace to souls that found none during the very war-event that is being celebrated.

The Days of Glory Event starts on the 4th of May and will last until the 24th of May 10:00 CEST.

During the celebration you will be able to take part in various activities to earn Ether Trace, which can be used to purchase various goodies in the shop. Other event features include:

• Touring the Military-Exhibitions that will be ongoing at the park. You will be able to learn about the equipment, the battle of Aelinar, and more!
• Fight against Phantoms of Past Battles that have the possibility of appearing during Adventures. These reminders of Aelion’s near demise can drop a mysterious Letter, currency, or even unique clothing!
• Solve the mystery of the strange letters! Successfully solving their riddles will take you on a journey across Aelion, earning you the event’s unique currency (Ether Trace) throughout your search, as well as a new costume!
• Enter the Virtual Reality on one of the consoles and beat the Virtual Challenge Battles! How long will you last?

Join is in saluting those who fell during the battle of Aelinar, and paying respects to those who did not get to live to see this day. Whether to earn yourself some special costumes, gain historical insight, or just to enjoy the fireworks show, we wish you good fortune during the Days of Glory event.
