How can you quickly catch up development wise in the current invasion season? This is something that concerns many players. For everyone wants not just to play Skyforge, but to be at the center of things. Until recently it was actually rather difficult to accumulate the necessary amount of might. It was a long process because the system only allowed you to speed up the receipt of progress in bastions and the temple of deeds, while might increased very slowly in the cathedral and temple of knowledge. This is all about to change!

A system will be added in the next update allowing you to rapidly catch up to the season's required cathedral and tower of knowledge development level!

How does it work?

The current season has a requirement for might and, correspondingly, progress of each building - cathedral, towers of knowledge and bastions. Do not mistake that for maximum development!

At the start of every season, the system will now check your character's progress for each building (taking into account the amount of might of the buildings themselves and unused projects in the bag), compare it to the recommended amount and calculate whether you require help to reach the necessary level. If you do, directives come into force!

To compensate for the lag and help you catch up to the required level, there will be something new in the reward list for directives! Projects, followers or divine deeds
Project — an item that when activated will give you progress for one of the campaign buildings. A Scientific Development Project will increase might in the Tower of Knowledge, while a Military Development Project will work on the most under-developed bastion.
Military development projects previously worked differently, adding a little might to each bastion. This will change after the update: one project — one bastion — more might.

You will progress more rapidly not only thanks to the Tower of Knowledge and Cathedral progress provided in rewards for directives, but also thanks to a general increase in pace. One directive could get a player who is seriously behind up to 5 ranks for the Tower of Knowledge and the same levels for a bastion!

Previously you could only have one randomly selected project among the rewards, but now the directives can have additional progress for two buildings at a time! In addition, players that are behind on all parameters will first speed up development of bastions and the Tower of Knowledge and then the Cathedral and Temple of Deeds.

For example the character Rebel Roll started to play Skyforge recently and has already achieved divine form, but has not yet reached the required level of development. By completing directives, Rebel Roll will receive military and scientific development projects as rewards until they reach the required level. As soon as they do, projects will be replaced with followers and divine deeds in the reward list.

Therefore no matter how far behind a player is they can make up for it and achieve the necessary development levels for their campaign buildings in 1.5-2 seasons. It is important to note that required development is not the same as maximum development. It is the amount of might (deeds) required for the current invasion.

Another pleasant aspect of the upcoming update is that many active players have not yet reached the level of cathedral development recommended for season 8. So very soon many of you will see additional followers among the directive rewards!

The changes have been applied with the maintenance on Wednesday the 3rd of May.

From May 18th to June 1st, 10:00 CEST, we call upon you and your trusted adepts to get to the bottom of what is going on at the Edelweiss research facility. Your participation will be generously rewarded!

A few years ago, Flavius’s article triggered a series of experiments with immortal volunteers. Immortality has always been just a tool to Flavius, and any tool can be upgraded. Ianna fully supported the initiative because Flavius's breakthrough would guarantee victory in the endless war for Aelion.

An experimental research facility called Edelweiss was established in one of the remote provinces of Aelion, where they began the process of "dissecting immortality", as Flavius liked to say. There was no shortage of volunteers. Research at Edelweiss was covered widely in media, and initial results looked very promising. For example, they managed to slightly extend the duration of the divine form. But then a catastrophic failure put a stop to Flavius's line of research; a young god disappeared from the test capsule as if he had simply evaporated. They couldn't cover it up and the public backlash forced Ianna to terminate the research, so Edelweiss was shut down. But now, many years later, the locals are demanding that Edelweiss be completely dismantled. They claim that the ghost of the missing god now haunts the premises.

The Mechanoid invasion has almost been repelled. The intelligent machines are suffering losses on all fronts. Junior gods have not only dealt with all the distortion generals, they have also fought the champion version of the Integrator avatar. The scientists and engineers of Aelion are rubbing their hands with glee - it has been a long time since they have had such a vast amount of materials to study.

However, it will be a while before the planet can be completely rid of the enemy army. Mechanoids continue to hold various important outposts. It will be at least two weeks before the Integrator decides it is not worth suffering any more losses and flees.

Use this time wisely! Gather the best equipment, get up to speed, unlock all the symbols in the bastions. Fight the champion version of the Mechanoid avatar and earn a trophy you can exchange for a unique divine weapon. Get ready for the next invasion. The next enemy army is already approaching!

Scouts say that a Gorgonide armada, led by the Bedazzling Aconita avatar, is making its way to Aelion. According to preliminary estimates, it will arrive at the planet on June 14th.

Even though Aconita has already been to Aelion, few were able to defeat her. Test your skills! New distortions and ninth generation equipment items await you. Don't forget to explore all the currently available Gorgonide bonuses in Flavius's Laboratory, so you can start gathering combat superiority from the very start of the invasion. Gather all your strength and prepare to fight!

Emergency broadcast! An unexpected attack from the creatures of Thea have resulted in high levels of chaos and panic amongst our researchers. In response to these unforeseen events, the Skyforge Team will temporarily become your quest givers in order to help remedy this problem. While we are unsure of what provoked the initial attacks, it is up to us to not only discover the answer but also save more lives from being lost to the hazards of our own treacherous moon. That is where YOU come in!

Starting on the 1st of June, we humbly request that all able-bodied Immortals prepare themselves for a Kariax Cluster culling, enough to drive the beasts back and give our Thea explorers and scientists the protection they need to continue their research unimpeded. Naturally, such a dangerous task will not be without its worthwhile bounty.

If you’d like to get your hands on a black and a orange & black bikini swimsuit then simply venture forth to Thea and slay 300 Kariax Clusters (per server) before the 30th of June. This should reduce the threat long enough for our investigation to complete and give our research team enough ‘space’ to continue their work. Naturally, kills from before the start date and after the end date will not count. On the same note, we will be able to check the kill-count ourselves once the event is concluded. However, there are presently no in-game means for players to count the kills, thus you will need to handle that aspect manually. No physical proof required – simply slay the required number of specific enemies within the allotted time to be eligible.

Furthermore, it would seem that new threats and challenges like this will rise up on a monthly basis, so be sure to stay tuned each month for brand new challenges and rewards! Good luck out there, Immortal.

After a fantastic trip to the Role Play Convention in Germany last weekend alongside Erza and Kakao – two highly talented cosplayers representing characters from Revelation Online & Skyforge – we had a lot of fun meeting with players and talking to fans about anything and everything. It is no secret that seeing Skyforge come to life had inspired the upcoming Cosplay contest, yet we don’t want the creativity to stop there!

Starting on June 2nd, we’ll be initiating another contest of creativity that isn’t restricted to cosplay and costumes – the Skyforge Fan-Art contest. This community contest will encompass everyone from the PC and PS4 versions of Skyforge, so no matter which platform you play on, you are more than welcome to take part and showcase your artistic flare for a chance at winning some fabulous prizes!

To be eligible for prizes, all you need to do is show off your very own Skyforge related fan-art via our Facebook or Twitter page using the hashtag “#SkyforgeFanart” before the 15th of June. Simple as that!

The Community Report

The Skyforge & Revelation Online team has successfully returned from their invasion of the Role Play Convention in Germany. Thanks to your stalwart defence of Aelion giving its inhabitants much needed breathing space, Ianna herself had the opportunity to join us in our mission to bring Skyforge into reality. There are rumours that it’s not the real Ianna – that it was actually renowned cosplayer “Erza” who, along with fellow cosplayer “Kakao” (representing Revelation Online), were delighting onlookers with their amazingly creative costumes – but we don’t believe that for a second.

It was a pleasure meeting and chatting with fans and gamers during our visit. If you weren’t one of them, be sure to check out all the fun and shenanigans by visiting our photo gallery of the event!
